Set in the Victorian era, Ada and the Engine tells the story of Ada Byron Lovelace, a brilliant young mathematician whose vision of binary code helped shape the modern world. Torn between her mother’s traditional expectations and her own creative ambition, Ada partners with inventor Charles Babbage to explore the revolutionary potential of “The Engine.” This lyrical, music-laced play—part romance, part origin story of the computer age—celebrates imagination, intellect, and innovation.
